FOX & THE BEE FARM

Our recent stay at the Fox and the Bee Farm was nothing short of magical — a relaxing breath of fresh air that far exceeded our expectations in every way.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality by the gracious hosts, Dan and Julie, whose friendliness and attention to detail made us feel instantly at home. Their love for the land and dedication to creating a peaceful, welcoming retreat is evident in every corner of the property.

The cottage itself is an absolute gem — beautifully designed and tastefully decorated, striking the perfect balance between rustic charm and modern comfort. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked, making it easy to prepare meals, and the chilled bottle of Chardonnay waiting for us was the perfect touch to unwind after a day of travel.

The bed deserves special mention — hands down the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Paired with luxuriously soft, sweetly scented sheets, it was like sleeping on a cloud.

We were also welcomed by the farm’s charming resident greeters: Bentley, the lovable golden retriever, three majestic horses, and two adorable miniature ponies. They brought smiles to our faces every day and added to the joyful, serene atmosphere of the farm.

The grounds are meticulously maintained, bursting with blooming flowers, flourishing garden beds of fresh herbs and vegetables, and fruit trees of every variety. The hen house was both delightful and entertaining — and the fresh eggs each morning were a delicious bonus!

Conveniently located close to all horse-related activities and just a short drive from Main Street in downtown Aiken, Fox and the Bee Farm offers the best of both nature and town life.

This stay was restorative and unforgettable. I will absolutely return — and I recommend this enchanting retreat to anyone seeking peace, beauty, and heartfelt hospitality.
